ASSESSMENT
This includes a complete evaluation of the specific customer data to be moved, the complexity of the customer’s current environment and the end user features to be configured.
PLANNING
Once a plan to migrate and test the data and notify the users has been developed is reviewed by a senior team for approval. The execution plan is very detailed and includes required resources, migration schedule, risk analysis, contingency planning, systematic customer communications and status reports.
BRANDING AND DESIGN
A user interface is created to present the service provider’s brand to their customers.
MIGRATION
Test data is migrated using the scripts and the results are analyzed for accuracy.
IMPLEMENTATION
Final data migration is completed. Implementations can range from one to four weeks depending upon the size, complexity and special requirements of the project.
